What a modular data center is
A modular data center is a prefabricated, purpose-built enclosure that arrives with its power distribution, cooling, and monitoring already installed. Instead of a 24-to-36-month construction project, you get a facility fabricated while your site is prepared, then placed and commissioned in a fraction of the time. Add capacity in matched increments as demand grows.
Three ways we deliver it
- Modular building with containerized expansion. A panelized data center building with room to add containerized modules on the same pad as load grows.
- Building with integrated power and cooling. The same building paired with on-site generation and air-cooled plant, engineered as one system.
- Multi-building campus with on-site substation. Several modular buildings, generator and cooling rows, and a dedicated substation inside a secured campus.
What ships from our shop
Structural steel, insulated panel envelope, electrical and mechanical rough-in, and controls, pre-tested before the module leaves Houston. What stays on site: the pad, the utility or generator feed, the field connections, and the final acceptance test, all planned before fabrication starts.
How a project runs
- Define the requirements, module scope, site interfaces, and acceptance criteria.
- Design the full system: module, site, power and controls together.
- Fabricate in the shop while the site is prepared in parallel.
- Set the modules, complete field connections, and test the assembled system against the requirements.
- Carry equipment data into eLERT™ monitoring and a preventive maintenance program after turnover.
